Ok..so I am getting really bad about this blogging!! I try but I get distracted by other things.
I hope this finds all of you doing good......(yep, this is gonna be like a letter...LOL)
I attended a few scrapbooking crops since I last wrote. I actually have accomplished getting a lot of Layouts done for my books but .....they aren't in their books yet! {Sigh}Gotta put that on my list to do...
The school year is just about over and Jillian will be home from college. She's had very good grades her freshman year! She'll come home to work at her Ice cream Parlor job and twirl and compete with baton again. Jared and Jacob get out of school in early June. They both have had a great year too. Jared adjusted perfectly to Jr High and managed to have pretty good grades. He played on the school basketball team this past winter and now he is starting up Club Soccer. He decided not to play baseball this summer as his soccer team made it into the state league and he wants to concentrate more on that. Jacob had a fantastic school year. His teacher knew how to nip his little antics right from the get go and he snapped right into shape!! He loves math and reading.....both of which he advanced in. For a 2nd grader, he is pretty smart!!! He will play only baseball this summer. He loves to write and sing songs.
James & Justin are doing well too. They both live at home. They plan on playing softball on a mens league in town this summer. Jim even signed up as a sub for their team.
Joey and Katie are still happily married and doing good. It is nice to see your kids happy!
With the economy the way it is, it has been a bit harder for Jim to find work. Everyone is cutting back on remodeling, building houses and even some repairs(doing things themselves instead of hiring someone) but he does have work so we are thankful to God for that!
I am still working and seem to be adjusting ok to it still. I still want to be home but bringing in the money is a good thing...especially now
I'll try to write again soon....and even show you some pics of my Layouts I have done....I'll put that on my list to do also!..........LOL
