Yonke Life Update 10-17-13

I'm the proud a mom of seven children. Six boys and one girl. One of my sons is waiting for me..in heaven. His name is John. And I will be there ......someday...with him! I have been married for 32 years to Jim. My four oldest are raised and grown and getting on with their own lives. So now we just have Jared(12th grade) and Jacob (7th grade) at home. Both of them keep us really busy with their soccer .
Jacob has been playing football, basketball, and soccer for his school and Kasl Soccer league in the fall and spring. last winter he took 2 sessions of swimming lessons. He keeps busy!
Jared is a soccer player ...period!! He honestly can play any position well but he mainly plays keeper. He's looking into college (as I try to fight back my tears) and so far his 1st choice is Trinity. Whew!! about 40 minutes from home, chapel a few times a week.....Oh how I pray this all works out. I need him to be closer to home than Jillian was.
Jillian has started her student teaching in Chicago this year and loves it.
James, Jenny here in Zion, right below us. It has been fun getting to know Jenny more. She is too sweet. They are engaged and planning for their wedding. They are the proud parents of Addison Grace and I am one proud Gramma!! It's so neat to see what good parents they are to Addi!
Justin lives in Kenosha and is working every day with Jim and his construction business. He has a very sweet girlfriend who we are enjoying to get to know better. She scrapbooks! LOL Come on Justin!! We wanna keep this Sweetheart in our family!!
Joey and Katie are happily married and living in Wisconsin. They bought their first home in Kenosha, Wisconsin. It is so adorable!! Katie is a pro at decorating it! Little Jeremiah Joseph safely arrived on March 1st. He is a doll and we all love him so much already!
Times flies...wasn't it just yesterday the kids were everywhere in this house? Kind of sad but it does make you feel good to know they are making their own way in life.
I am still working and enjoying it more and more. I like having the outlet. Just need to figure out how to keep my house clean! LOL! Still miss the days of being a stay at home mom. Those were the best years of my life and I did not even know it! I should have appreciated it more back then.

Jim still has his construction business.....challenging in these times. Jim still makes my heart skip a beat or two....but sometimes it's because I'm totally annoyed with him. Gotta love that man!
